The Arizona Diamondbacks are hosting a Game of Thrones night with a special twist on a Night King bobblehead.

When HBO announced it was partnering with Major League Baseball, in order to get the word out about season 7, we wondered what that would look like. Well, wonder no more, as the Arizona Diamondbacks are hosting a Game of Thrones night, by showcasing a special Night King-Taijuan Walker bobblehead.

As a pitcher in the Major Leagues, one must have ice in their veins, and if this special Game of Thrones themed Night King bobblehead of Taijuan Walker is any indication of his prowess on the mound, then maybe it’s fitting that he gets turned into a White Walker.

This won’t be the last time you see Game of Thrones and MLB mixing it up throughout the season, as Winter is Coming notes, there are plans for ticket packages, even more theme nights, social media events, and, as you can see from the photo above, co-branded merchandise. Other teams participating are:

  • Boston Red Sox
  • Cincinnati Reds
  • Chicago White Sox
  • Houston Astros
  • Los Angeles Dodgers
  • Kansas City Royals
  • Miami Marlins
  • Milwaukee Brewers
  • Minnesota Twins
  • Oakland Athletics,
  • Philadelphia Phillies
  • Pittsburgh Pirates
  • Seattle Mariners
  • San Francisco Giants
  • St. Louis Cardinals
  • Texas Rangers
  • Tampa Bay Rays
  • Washington Nationals

Next: HBO is planning multiple Game of Thrones spinoffs

So, as you can see, it’s a nationwide deal between HBO and MLB, which will give fans an opportunity to get in on the Game of Thrones fun. I bet you never thought we could use “Game of Thrones” and “Fun” in the same sentence.
