The world of True Detective continues to inspire, and to that end a book of critical essays on the series has been published. Out on SCHISM, and edited by Edia Connole, Paul J. Ennis and Nicola Masciandaro, True Detection presents multiple essays inspired and based on the first season.
Titles include “The Nonsense of Detection: Truth Between Science and the Real,” which just begs to be read. It’s safe to say that this won’t be the first and last time that True Detective inspires some serious critical thinking.
Note: We gain nothing from brining this book to your attention.
