Elisabeth Moss Leaving True Detective for Broadway?

Elisabeth Moss has been one of the lead choices for True Detective’s second season for a few months now, and continues to dance around the question whenever it’s posed. Deadline is now reporting that Moss is heading to Broadway in a revival of Wendy Wasserstein’s The Heidi Chronicles in the spring.

This might very well might mean the end of those pesky True Detective rumors. Taking into account required rehearsal time, Moss just might simply not have room in her schedule for True Detective. That is, of course, unless things pick up very quickly.

Scheduling is surely one of the largest in hurdle in attempting to amass a high-profile cast. If Moss is out, at least we might have Rachel McAadams.
