28. Sookie and Bill’s First Time

Despite their mutual attraction, Sookie and Bill didn’t come together until the sixth episode of the first season. By that time she knew her fate was sealed and she belonged to Bill, no matter how hard Sam tried to keep her away.

She made up her mind after Gran’s disaster of a funeral, and, dressed in a white nightgown, she runs across the cemetery to Bill’s mansion, where they do the deed in front of a fire. Bill’s fangs pop out, and instead of being afraid, Sookie is drawn to him. She pulls him toward her until he bites her neck.

Later, she and Bill share a bath where Sookie marvels at losing her virginity. He tells her that she’ll need to start taking vitamins to make up for the times he feeds from her.

When Sookie goes to work the next day sporting a scarf, her coworkers notice the pep in her step, and she confesses to Arlene that she and Bill had sex. Unfortunately, Sam yanks off her scarf so everyone can see her neck, and Sookie must contend with hateful thoughts from the diner patrons.
