3. Varga Poisons Sy

Varga has a weird thing with making Sy eating and drinking strange things, but this time there’s a purpose behind Varga’s torment. Besides the fact that Varga and his goons have made themselves right at home in Emmit’s mansion, it’s strange that he has totally taken control of Emmit let alone poison Emmit’s best friend with some sort of wacky tea.

You were totally right Sy, things are really not right in Fargo.

After passing out in the office, Sy seems to be in a coma (he has a full beard that looks like Ron Swanson from Parks and Rec) and Emmit is in total guilt mode since, really, everything is kind of his fault after letting Varga into his life so closely.

4.  Emmit grew a weird mustache and confesses

Emmit is officially losing his mind in this week’s episode of Fargo. First, he sees the dreadful stamp all over the walls in this office and in the next scene he’s in the bathroom and sees a mustache just like Ray and has a total meltdown calling Varga.

Like Sy, Varga gives him something to swallow that knocks him out and we get to see the super-skinny Asian goon pick up Emmit and flop him on the bed like a dead fish. Of course, this doesn’t stop Emmit, like Nikki in the beginning of the episode, from seeing the light of day and through Varga’s schemes. By the end of the episode, Emmit is at the police station and is ready to confess his crimes to Gloria.
