Ratings for Starz’s “The White Princess” have risen every episode.

The Starz miniseries The White Princess has done something few shows are able to achieve: Its ratings have grown with each episode across its first four airings. According to Showbuzz Daily, the historical drama’s audience grew to a new high of 845,000 viewers, along with a 0.21 rating among adults 18-49, tying its previous high in the demo.

The live viewership total for episode 4, “The Pretender,” airing on Sunday, May 7, was above that of its lead-out, the new series American Gods, as well as HBO shows The Leftovers, Silicon Valley and Veep. However, it lagged behind all of those programs except for Veep in the all-important 18-49 demographic.

Still the numbers are impressive given that it’s on a competitive night, as Starz attempts to keep up on Sundays with prestige networks like HBO, Showtime and AMC following the success of Outlander and Power. Like those series, The White Princess‘ predecessor, The White Queen, first aired on Saturday nights back in 2013, also gaining viewers throughout its limited run. It reached a high of 1.16 million viewers and a 0.35 rating for its finale.

The pairing of The White Princess and American Gods gives the network its first successful Sunday night lineups, providing a trial run for genre fare for when Outlander moves to the night later this year, after Power had a successful run there last summer.

Based on Philippa Gregory’s book of the same name, The White Princess takes place following the events of The White Queen and the conclusion of the War of the Roses. It follows Elizabeth of York, daughter of Edward IV and niece of Richard III, who’s forced to marry Henry VII — the first Tudor king —  in an effort to unite the House of York and the House of Lancaster after years of turmoil.

The White Princess stars Jodie Comer, Jacob Collins-Levy, Essie Davis, Vincent Regan, Suki Waterhouse, Joanne Whalley and Michelle Fairley. Unlike the first series, Starz produced it without the involvement of the BBC following a somewhat lackluster response to The White Queen overseas. The new mini series opened to 633,000 viewers and a 0.16 18-49 demo rating in April.

The White Princess continues Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on Starz.
