What’s on HBO This Weekend 11/14 – 11/15

HBO has plenty to see this weekend in terms of new programming. Sunday has the usual lineup of new episodes from The Leftovers, Getting on, and Last Week Tonight, while Saturday features the-2.5 hour concert U2 Innocence + Experience: Live In Paris. Here’s the full rundown of new programming for this weekend.

Saturday 11/14

Run All Night – 7:00 p.m.

HBO Description: Feared Brooklyn assassin Liam Neeson becomes the hunted one, running all over New York City from hired guns and the law in this non-stop action-thriller. Forced to kill his boss’s screw-up of a son, Irish hit man Jimmy Conlon (Neeson) faces his former friend’s cold-blooded wrath over the course of a bullet-riddled Christmas eve. Joel Kinnaman co-stars as Conlon’s son who also becomes a target. Co-starring Vincent D’Onofrio, Nick Nolte, Bruce McGill, Genesis Rodriguez with Common and Ed Harris. U2 Innocence + Experience: Live in Paris – 9:00 p.m.

HBO Description: U2 brings its reinvention of the rock & roll arena show to HBO with the world premiere of the band’s iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE TOUR. HBO will present the 22-time Grammy(R)-winning band’s November 14 performance, shot at the newly renovated Bercy Arena in Paris and airing exclusively on HBO that same day. The special showcases the inventive set that allows U2 to explore the concepts of iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE through a performance that literally moves throughout the venue via multiple stages, a one-of-a-kind interactive floor-to-ceiling arena-length LED screen that has earned its reputation as the fifth member of U2, and a radical new approach to surround sound that ensures everyone in the audience sees, feels and hears the show with maximum impact from every seat in the house. Sunday 11/15

The Leftovers – 9:00 p.m.

HBO Description: Nora gives Kevin and Jill some news they weren’t expecting. Kevin deals with the fallout of Nora’s news and explores his options re: tackling his Patti problem head-on. Jill goes on a solo adventure that could only happen in Miracle. Laurie makes a rash decision that affects the Garveys. (TVMA)

Getting On – 10:00 p.m.

HBO Description: The staff faces an infectious disease crisis. DiDi’s family drama spills into work–in the person of her sister-in-law, Yvette. Dr. James reaches out to a pharmaceutical company and finds herself affected by a patient with a complicated past. A worn-out Dawn is revived by Patsy’s unpredictable advances. (TVMA)
