People Are Freaking out about a Handshake Between Two Game of Thrones Characters

Game of Thrones is so popular that even reports of two characters being filmed shaking hands is enough to throw fans and the internet into a tizzy.

If this is how it’s going to be all the way until the still unknown date when Game of Thrones season 7, hits HBO, it’s safe to say that fans will be working themselves into a frenzy over the upcoming months.

Between family reunions and character returns, there’s been plenty to get them started toward that state as filming for the new episodes proceeds. Now, though, images from the set in Spain confirm two main characters greeting each other, and that’s taken things to another level.

(There’s that spoiler thing, though. Fair warning.)

Watchers on the Wall has pics (as provided by the Daily Mail) of a Jon Snow-Tyrion Lannister handshake, with the two characters apparently meeting up outside of Dragonstone. Davos Seaworth is also on hand.

That follows up on the pics from last week that showed Jon and Daenerys Targaryen together, meaning that the two closest people Game of Thrones has to heroes will be joining forces. Maybe. Or at least talking to each other without one trying to kill the other.

It’s still too early to say how long the speculation train will keep running this time around, as filming for season 7 is expected to last until February of next year. New episodes of Game of Thrones aren’t expected until summer 2017, several months later than the last few seasons have debuted.
