15. Alcide and His Abs

In season 3, Eric hires Alcide to accompany Sookie to Mississippi when she decides that she has to leave during the day to find Bill. Alcide is a werewolf, and Eric feels comfortable sending her in his care. At first Alcide is cautious about Sookie’s ability to read minds, but eventually the pair warms up as they get into trouble at a werewolf bar in Jackson.

Sookie becomes entwined with the pack from that point forward, and there are multiple times when she finds herself in relationships with Alcide. However, the pack calls to him, and he’s bound to serve the needs of the pack even when he wants to be with her.

Alcide and Eric are both incredibly attractive, so Alcide’s arrival in the third season turned a lot of heads. At one point, Eric glamours Alcide to care for Sookie but to keep his hands off of her, which drives Alcide nuts.
