14. Lorena Turns Heads

Bill has no love for his maker, Lorena. She tricked him into immortality, and he has spent decades plotting his revenge. When she comes back into his life, Bill finally sees an opportunity to get his revenge on his maker for all of the horrible things she has done over the years, not the least of which is terrorizing Bill’s descendants.

During a romp in bed, Bill uses the opportunity to try to kill her. As he’s having sex, he starts twisting her head so that her face is looking behind her. Her neck is completely twisted and yet she still laughs and goads him to continue. Bill screams in frustration.

Lorena’s presence is a direct threat to Sookie’s life, and he can’t risk losing Sookie. He’s willing to lie to Russell Edgington to protect Sookie, a play that could put his own life in danger. Learning about Lorena explains why Bill is the way he is. He doesn’t want to be like her at all.
