Watch Westworld season 1, episode 7 online: Trompe L’Oeil

Though it’s been spoiling for a while, we could have our first real battle for the soul of Westworld in “Trompe L’Oeil,” so you’ll want to be sure you catch it live.

If anyone can tell you they know exactly where Westworld is going to go next, they’re either really good guessers, really good liars or they work on the show.

Through six episodes, we’ve been treated to the expected uprising of the park’s artificial life forms, the hosts. Yet the human drama is also been piling up in compelling fashion.

There’s a power play in full swing for the future of Westworld with more players than one might have first expected. Not only is Robert Ford clashing with some of his own employees, it looks like Theresa Cullen might be playing both sides — or even more if she’s been smuggling data to a third party.

Charlotte Hale’s arrival is only going to complicate things further. And poor Bernard Lowe seems to be stuck right in the middle of it all.

We haven’t even discussed characters like Dolores Abernathy and the Man in Black, who are out in the park seeking the Maze. There’s so much to look forward to in episode 7, “Trompe L’Oeil,” that it’s hard to even keep track of it all.
