Westworld season 1, episode 9, The Well-Tempered Clavier: Watch online

It’s anyone’s guess as to what surprises await us in the penultimate episode of the first episode of Westworld.

If you’re a fan of Westworld, you probably have at least one close friend or family member who’s as obsessed with it as you. For me, it’s one of my brothers, who said to me after episode 8, “There’s only two hours left of Westworld. No way they wrap all this up.”

That’s probably correct. But maybe that’s not the point anyway. After all, the series has already been renewed for season 2, and even if that hadn’t been the case, it doesn’t feel like the kind of show that will wrap everything up in a nice bow.

Maybe it’s better to ponder what questions we have that we expect to be answered. Surely, we should get an idea of whether the William/Dolores scenes are taking place in the past. Some more insight into the true nature of the Man in Black also seems likely. Revelations about Wyatt and Maeve? Sure.

I’m less certain about whether we’ll see anyone reach the center of The Maze. Arnold promises to be an enigma that might last through the off-season as well.

Revelations are probably being saved for the season’s final hour, but that doesn’t mean that this week’s episode, “The Well-Tempered Clavier,” won’t be exciting. Here’s the official synopsis from HBO:
