The Walking Dead Season 7 finale is apparently one of the best episodes ever

The Walking Dead is teasing this year’s season finale as one of the best episodes the show has ever come up with.

It hasn’t been an easy season for The Walking Dead. After a season premiere that saw two main characters get killed off in absolutely blood chilling fashion, fans began to back off and wonder if the show was any good anymore. The subpar season that followed didn’t go a long way in quelling  any concerns but it all might be worth it in the end.

All signs are pointing towards the season finale of the show this year making up for everything that has transpired prior to this. Of course, that information is coming from people within the show but that’s still a vote of confidence worth paying attention to.

Greg Nicotero spoke with Entertainment Weekly and noted that the script for the season finale episode is one of the best the show has ever produced.

"“I think it’s one of the best scripts that we’ve ever produced, just in terms of pure character arc,” Greg Nicotero said. “And it really sums up the trajectory of the second half of the season perfectly. A lot of the questions, and a lot of the things that we spent time cultivating over the first half of the season and the second half of the season, definitely come to a head.”"

Nicotero is a solid judge, so his word is worth a lot here. Fans who were underwhelmed with the lack of anything really interesting happening this season are hungry for information like this, and a vote of confidence such as this can go a long way.

We will have to wait until the season finale airs this weekend to see if the episode can live up to the hype and anticipation.
