Daredevil Season 3 to film this summer, premiere in 2018?

We are one step closer to a new season of the hit Netflix series Daredevil, as the show has confirmed a shooting date.

Netflix has a lot on its plate as far as original series are concerned, but one of its hit shows won’t be back until  next year. That’s a guess, but the lack of production surrounding a third season of Daredevil is something that has fans wondering what the heck is going on.

We finally have a little bit of clarity. While Marvel and Netflix have yet to confirm things, series star Charlie Cox is dropping bombs.

During an interview with Boogaloo RadioCox let it slip that he was blocking off time to shoot the third season of Daredevil later this year. That means the next season should deb dropping some time in 2018.

This makes sense, as the show needs to work some things out that didn’t really go over well in the second season. There’s also the Punisher series to equate for here, as it’s likely he’ll play a large role in the third season of the show as well as in his own series.

If filming indeed gets underway this summer, which is what it sounds like will be the case, then a premiere date of early 2018 seems fathomable. Daredevil has existed in that timeframe for the first two seasons of the show and having a February or March premiere next year lines up with a production start date of this summer.

We don’t know anything for sure yet, but the wheels are starting to turn again over at Daredevil and that’s never a bad thing.
