The Walking Dead: 5 reasons Negan is the best thing on the show

2. The man has a sense of humor
“It’s gonna be pee-pee pants city here real soon.” -Negan
Whether he’s bashing in some of our favorite characters brains, or making fun of their physical appearance, Negan has brought a bit of levity to a show that is otherwise fairly grim. And, how do we say this? Not funny. We thank Negan for that, because laughing isn’t something we normally do while watching The Walking Dead.
Moments like Negan’s hangout with Carl, (You do the same damn stink eye as your dad – except it’s only half as good, cuz, ya know, you’re missing one eye), to the above quote when we first met the terrifying villain, we can’t help but chuckle as Jeffrey Dean Morgan chews up the scenery. And our heroes. Mischievous glee has never been this much fun.
Negan even gave a voice to the fans upon first meeting Father Gabriel with the following line “Holy crap! You are creepy as s**t, sneaking up on me wearing that collar with that freaky ass smile!” Hasn’t everyone else been thinking the same thing since we first met Gabriel? You know you have.
We don’t know what Negan’s ultimate fate will be on the show, but the comedy the character brings to the show will be sorely missed if Rick ever gets his way. And we will all be the lesser for it.
