Now, on first glance, this might appear to simply be Weseros’ cutest couple having a study session because that’s what cute couples do. But if you zoom in on the page Gilly is reading, you might just discover some pretty earth shattering Game of Thrones secrets.

As it turns out, it’s an actual page from the World of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin, Elio M. García Jr., and Linda Antonsson that has been slightly modified for the show. The complete text can be found here, but be warned, it’s spoiler heavy if you know how to read the clues. It concerns a certain someone’s heritage and a prophecy. And Colonel Sanders secret chicken recipe.

Ser Davos of House Seaworth is looking like a proper Northern lord in this photo if we don’t say. Davos appears to be sitting at the high table in Winterfell, right in front of the hearth. That’s a place of honor and importance in any castle, and we are glad to see Ser Davos doing so well.

It’s hard to tell what else this photo could mean, but Davos will serve as a perfect counselor for Jon Snow, and we are comforted to know his level and honest advice has found a better king to serve than Stannis Baratheon.

If we didn’t know any better, this looks almost like the scene in which Lyanna Mormont delivered a verbal beatdown to the lords of the North. Littlefinger even appears to be slinking up against the wall in the same way he was in that scene.

Since we know it’s from season 7 however, we are guessing this is another moment in which Jon has gathered his lords to bring something before them. And once more, Lyanna is putting everyone to shame. If Lyanna is speaking, you can bet it’s important, so perhaps this shot is the debate over how to handle Daenerys’ landing in Westeros. We doubt it’s a debate over crop results.

Our last shot is of the Lannister twins as Cersei sits upon the Iron Throne. Cersei appears to be wearing the same outfit we’ve seen her wearing in all the promos, but this is our first shot of Jaime Lannister.

Interesting that Jaime is wearing his Lannister armor, as opposed to being reinstated to his Kingsguard post. We doubt Jaime would have wanted the job again, and this seems to serve as confirmation.

Also of note, is Jaime not wearing any sort of crown. Many asked if Cersei would take Jaime as her king, finally revealing their not so secret relationship. Jaime’s stance and lack of a crown seem to confirm he will not rule jointly with Cersei.

And that’s all we have! Season 7 remains roughly three months away, but HBO certainly has given us quite a bit to chew on. Let us know what you think in the comments below!
