3. Laura Moon is so not dead.
If we’re certain of anything, we are defiantly going to see more of Laura Moon (Emily Browning) and not just as a corpse. During the end of the episode, Shadow leaves the coin he received from Leprechaun Mad Sweeney (Pablo Schreiber) on Laura’s graveside then, as he leaves, the coin is sucked into the earth.
There are a lot of possibilities of what this could mean for Laura: the coin could bring her back to life and we’ll see her digging her way out of her grave zombie-style next episode or the coin could allow Shadow to see her as a ghost haunting him as he travels with Mr. Wednesday (Ian McShane). Either way, we are defiantly going to see more of Shadow’s wife dead or alive.
4. Laura Moon’s and Robbie Burton’s deaths were caused by Mr. Wednesday.
Like our theory with Shadow being a “chosen” one, we also think there was a reason why Laura and Robbie had to die. Is the question though, were the gods involved? Or was it Mr. Wednesday who caused the car accident leaving Shadow with nowhere go but to his side?
It’s clear that Wednesday is no human and is heavily connected to the world of the gods, but would he go that far to recruit Shadow? Also, their deaths are very fishy, to begin with: why on earth would you drive and have sex? It’s an odd death and the details will probably be explored more as the show progresses next week, but our money is on that Wednesday was involved somehow.
