5 things we learned from Marvel’s “The Defenders” trailer

The Defenders trailer dropped yesterday much to the excitement of Marvel fans everywhere.

After one day on YouTube, and The Defenders trailer has amassed over four million views and hundreds of people trying to discover the clues that went unnoticed after a first viewing. So, let’s dive in and find out which 5 things we learned from The Defenders trailer.

1. Daredevil’s mentor, Stick, seems to be the one to train The Defenders.   

Scott Glenn has knocked it out of the park as a compelling yet flawed character who’s acted as a guiding force in Matt Murdock’s life. He was a huge factor in Elektra’s death last season and he may be trying to atone for his sins by gathering The Defenders together in hopes of saving her as well as New York City.

Then again, Stick’s life mission has been to take The Hand down so his main motive will most likely be to force the four heroes to work together for the greater good. Considering he has a huge chunk of narration in this trailer as well as the only voice over in the Comic Con teaser, it’s safe to say he’ll be a guide for this group of misfits.
