4. Luke Cage’s and Danny Rand’s friendship may be iconic, but Jessica Jones and Daredevil are the real snarky partnership.

Before The Defenders trailer dropped, Mike Colter had revealed that his character’s relationship with Iron Fist would be more of a mentor or big brother compared to their comic book friendship. Their scenes make that perfectly clear, with the two finding themselves on opposing sides at first until Claire Temple arrives.

Meanwhile, Matt Murdock is the one to show up as Jessica’s defense attorney, undoubtedly also sent by Claire, as well as trade playful insults with her over a scarf. Comic fans will rejoice that Daredevil’s and Jessica Jones’ meeting will be roughly the same off-screen as it is on at least. Who will be the best BFF’s of The Defenders? I guess we’ll have to wait to find out.
