After Revan and Malak defeated the Mandalorians, they decided to explore the uncharted space past the Outer Rim. What the two Jedi Knights found there was a vast and alert Sith Empire. They were lured in by the call of the Dark Side and the Sith Emperor and turned to the Dark Side completely. Darth Revan and Darth Malak were born, and the Sith Emperor sent them back to the Jedi in order to eradicate them.

Revan was eventually redeemed, but Malak was not. To this day, Revan stands as one of only a select few Jedi who fell to the Dark Side, but then was redeemed by the Light side of the Force, and returned to his Jedi path.

Eventually, Revan decided to go back to find the Sith Emperor, in order to kill him so that the Sith would not attack the Republic again, but when he did, the Emperor was waiting. Revan was imprisoned, and the Sith Emperor siphoned Force energy from the Jedi who refused to turn back to the Dark.

The story of Revan is a rich and complex one and would be perfect for Netflix.
