Which Game of Thrones character represents your state?

41. Missouri — The Hound
Sandor “the Hound” Clegane is one of the show’s many anti-heroes, and the best example of a character that lives in the gray area George R.R. Martin loves so much. The Hound has murdered children, as well as protected the Stark sisters at various times. Defending Loras Tyrell from his older brother, Ser Gregor might seem knightly, but robbing peasants is most certainly not. The Hound remains skeptical of the world around him, all the while downing copious amounts of wine and ale.
The Hound might appear an odd choice for Missouri, but consider the state’s nickname “The Show Me State”. The origin is commonly attributed to Missouri Congressman Willard Vandiver who implored his audience that “frothy eloquence neither convinces nor satisfies me. I’m from Missouri, and you have got to show me.” One could easily consider this the Hound’s personal motto. The Hound was never impressed with one’s titles or rank, having been burned at a young age by his elder brother Gregor, an anointed knight. One must “show” the Hound, not talk the talk. Walk the walk.
And perhaps more important to the Hound, Missouri has not some of the loosest alcohol laws in the country, it is also home to one of the largest beer producers in the world, Anheuser-Busch. The Hound will drink to that. Just bring him a chicken. Or two.
