We Have a New Preview for Broad City Season 4

As a big fan of Broad City, I’ve been a little sad to have to wait so long for new episodes.

Life has been a little lonely without Ilana and Abbi, and Broad City, but luckily, we don’t have to wait too much longer for more. The show tweeted out a link to a preview of its new season, premiering later this summer on August 23rd.

Last season saw the ladies get a little more serious with more attention paid to longer story arcs than the first couple of seasons. Abbi got into a complicated relationship with Trey, Lincoln ended his relationship with Ilana, and the friends confronted being honest with each other. At the end of the season, Abbi and Ilana get kicked off a plane to Israel. A lot happened.

Be forewarned, the preview is a bit NSFW, even though it makes use of bleeps and blurs. It wouldn’t be Broad City otherwise, right?

So what do we learn in this new trailer?

  • The costume department invested in a lot of 80s wind suits.
  • Lincoln is back, baby.
  • Bevers apparently followed up on that Solstice workout plan and got kinda ripped?
  • Ru Paul, Steve Buscemi, Wanda Sykes, Jane Curtin, and others make appearances!
  • We get animated, tripped-out Abbi and Ilana.
  • The ladies go to Florida, or at least some tropical-like location!
  • Abbi and Trey are still goin’ at it, so they must mend their relationship at some point.
  • Abbi experiments with Botox!
  • Abbi and Ilana still love each other.

According to IMDB, this season will be 10 episodes long. I for, one, am super excited to rejoin the antics of these characters.
