We need a Game of Thrones style Star Wars television show

THE SITH ARE AN UNTOLD PART OF STAR WARS

We’ve seen a lot of the Jedi in the Star Wars films. The Sith, on the other hand, have in many ways remained much more mysterious. Much of what we have heard or seen about the Sith comes from Episode 1 (which I try to block out of my memory as a terrible nightmare that never happened) and from things the Jedi told us.

What if we had a series that actually told the story of the Sith from the Sith’s point of view. What if, however, seeing them as the bad guys we were forced to see the Sith the way the Sith see themselves.

The Sith would be fascinating characters to dive into because they aren’t as rigid as the Jedi. There would be Sith you would instantly hate, and Sith that you might find yourself rooting for, in an “Arya is killing people, but they totally deserve it” kind of way.

Telling this story from the Sith point of view might actually change the way you look at the original Star Wars films as well. (Insert your own “from a certain point of view” joke here.)
