4. Jaime Lannister’s last ride
Since virtually the moment we met Jaime Lannister, we were told tales of his prowess with a sword and as a warrior. Men wanted to be him, women wanted him and all that. And yet aside from his brief duels with Ned Stark and Brienne of Tarth, we’ve never actually seen Jaime kicking some ass (having your sword hand chopped off will do that). All that changed in the new trailer.
We see Jaime in full on god mode, navigating a field set ablaze by what we assume is dragonfire. Jaime has never looked more determined, and quite frankly more like the Jaime Lannister we heard tales of than he has here. Wheel and dealing, and clearly on a mission to deliver that lance somewhere, Jaime is in full on Braveheart mode in this trailer shot, and we want to follow him through the flames. Even if it is probably to his charbroiled death. Charging into dragonfire hardly seems healthy, but perhaps Jaime has someone ready to pull his proverbial iron from the fire.
Our only question is, how the hell is Jaime steering his horse? With the golden hand?
