Preacher Season 2: 5 Things we want to see this season

2. The Saint of Killers confronting Jesse Custer

As shown on the Preacher Season 1 finale, the Saint of Killers was the cowboy whose story we watched in flashbacks and he ended up in Hell, reliving his worst nightmares over and over again. He is now out of hell, set free by the angel Fiore to kill Jesse.

It is also shown in the season finale that the Saint of Killers has guns that can kill even angels – as he killed two angels in that episode alone. Now, he is after Jesse Custer to kill him and stop Genesis – and that chase plays a huge role in the comics and will likely take center stage during Preacher Season 2 as well.

1. Herr Star

The biggest thing that we want to see in Preacher Season 2 is the arrival – officially – of Herr Starr. He was shown in the shadows in the Season 1 episode “The Possibilities,” where he was in a snuff film theater and received a map that Tulip stole and gave to Herr Starr’s assistant Dany.

Without spoiling too much, Herr Starr is the main villain in the Preacher storyline. While the Saint of Killers is out to kill Jesse Custer to stop Genesis, Herr Starr wants to use Genesis and Jesse for purely evil purposes and he is showing up in Preacher Season 2, portrayed by Pip Torrens.
