7 questions for Game of Thrones season 7

1. Where is everyone else?

The trailers revealed larger portions of the season 7 slate, and we have good ideas of the journeys of many of our favorite (and not so favorite) characters will take when Game of Thrones returns July 16. But what about the characters we didn’t see in the trailers? Samwell Tarly, Gilly, Olenna Tyrell, the Sand Snakes, Bronn, Jorah and Lyanna Mormont are all noticeably absent from the season 7 trailers.

Time constraints are partially to blame for some of the absences of course, but either way, we can take good guesses as to what everyone else is up to.

• Sam and Gilly are probably still hanging out in the Citadel studying up, hardly trailer material.
• Olenna most likely went back to Highgarden after meeting with the Sand Snakes in Dorne, the safest place for the last remaining Tyrell.
• The Sand Snakes are the hardest to nail down, but we did see Ellaria making out with Yara in one trailer. So that likely puts the Sand Snakes with Dany’s forces.
• Last we saw of Bronn, he was serving Jaime Lannister, so we see no reason to think that’s not where we will find him (We do briefly see him next to Jaime when the Lannister archers are taking aim at something in the sky).
• Likewise, for Lyanna Mormont, we last saw her in Winterfell in service of the Starks, and we expect to find her there again come season 7.
• As for her cousin, Jorah, Lord of the friendzone, we could literally find him just about anywhere in Westeros, or even Essos. That creepy looking hand in the trailer most likely belongs to Jorah, but what he’s up to is a mystery. Hopefully, Jorah has found a cure, but being isolated like that is not a good sign.
