This episode title is a bit more obscure. We know that Dany is “Stormborn” because she was born during a raging storm, but what does it mean? Will another storm come to threaten Dany or will we learn the true meaning of what being Stormborn is?

Dany’s unexpected visitor is probably Jon trying to form an alliance with the dragon queen in order to stop the real threat – the white walkers. But, we know if this is the case there is going to be tension between the two because Dany isn’t going to just drop her campaign for the iron throne and ride for the North.

She’s too headstrong about what she wants for that, so that could mean a lot of things for Jon and Dany: he could help her claim the iron throne so she can help with the white walkers, she could realize halfway through the season that Jon might be right and abandon her desire for the throne to help him, or she could wait until she has the throne and then have to leave it to do the right thing (destroy the white walkers with her dragons). Either way, we think Dany’s reign is doomed one way or the other.

Jon facing a revolt is a scary prospect. Revolts typically come from the inside so that means his own loyal houses, who crowned him King, last season, may be having second thoughts. We could also see a revolt come from Sansa, who has Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) in her ear whispering things about how she should be the rightful heir to Winterfell. As for Tyrion, it’s a pretty cool thought to see someone so small, yet so powerful planning the conquest of an entire continent. We have a feeling he’s going to need a lot of wine though.
