HBO debuts new images from Game of Thrones season 7 premiere episode “Dragonstone”

The return of Game of Thrones is almost upon us, and HBO has released new images from the season 7 premiere.

We are only a few long days away from the season 7 premiere of Game of Thrones, and HBO has released new images from “Dragonstone” via Entertainment Weekly. The article also confirmed the US premiere will be tonight, so look for even more info to leak out later this evening. For now though let’s gaze upon the images and start counting the hours! Beware though, spoilers lurk below this new image of Lyanna Mormont.

This image of Daenerys is new, but fairly similar to plenty of other images we’ve seen in trailers and the like. Moving along.

Again, this next image of Daenerys is similar to others that we have seen. That stone throne on Dragonstone is still pretty impressive though.

Different queen, but another familiar image, as we see Cersei doing Cersei here. Drinking wine and plotting destruction. Heavy spoilers follow below. Last chance to turn back.

Meera! Castle Black! Also, Dolorous “new Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch” Edd’s ear. This image clearly implies that Meera and Bran reach and pass through the Wall in the first episode of the season. And Meera certainly looks to be happy. Or at least relieved not to be pulling Bran’s sled anymore.

Lastly, we have partners in crime Brienne of Tarth and Podrick Payne apparently continuing young Podrick’s training in the yard at Winterfell (meaning they have returned from the Riverlands). Because everyone wants to hit a f***ing squire Pod.
