Game of Thrones is a show based on death, and each week we give you the Dead Pool odds on the five characters most likely to die.

Here’s a hint: the odds are high. Death came fast, and death came often on Game of Thrones of seasons past, and season 7 doesn’t appear to be any different, as the Seven Kingdoms are once again at war. Daenerys’ arrival in Westeros is likely to kick the body count up a notch as well, as dragons tend to do that.

Each week, we’ll take a look at the five characters most likely to die and give you our best guess as to what the odds are they kick the bucket. Season premieres don’t typically have much death, but season 7 seems to be unique. With only seven episodes as opposed to the regular ten, we are looking at a compressed timetable. That means all bets are off, and we could be in store for a very bloody premiere.

Who exactly is in the most danger? For “Dragonstone” it seems most likely that allies of Daenerys Targaryen would be in the most peril. Her landing in Westeros can’t go off completely unopposed, and that means casualties. Let’s take a look at who isn’t going to see season 8. Or even the second episode of season 7.
