10 characters we want to see team up in Game of Thrones season 7

Poor, poor Sam. This week’s episode was rough for our favorite bookworm after that lovely poop and soup montage, but despite Sam’s current work situation not being the job of his dreams, we still think he’s going to end up being one of the most important players in the game of thrones.

So why not pair him up with Tyrion Lannister? Another character well-versed in knowledge, who is as important as they come, and who once held the title of chief sewer drain cleaner at Casterly Rock…so they share that common interest, as well.

Tyrion spent his childhood reading books about dragons (when he wasn’t watching cousin Orson crush beetles) and is now helping a Dragon Queen take back her homeland. And, Sam is currently unlocking the powers of dragonglass, so if these two team up, they may be able to unlock how to defeat the White Walkers once and for all with Dany’s dragons, Dragonstone’s supply of dragonglass and Valyrian steel.
