Tulip allowed herself to be captured so she could ask Viktor ask for a divorce. After Jesse demands that she leaves, she returns to Denis’ home with Viktor’s daughter and then punches Cassidy in the face. The tension between the two rises as Tulip tells Cassidy that she knows what he was trying to do when he sent Jesse to Viktor’s. She had told Cassidy that Viktor was her husband (although that was never shown) and said he knew what Jesse would do. Cassidy feigns innocence and says he just wanted to help his friends.

Cassidy says he will go to talk Jesse out of killing Viktor and Tulip tells him to let Jesse know that they are finished if he kills Viktor. That is when Cassidy heads to Viktor’s and finds Jesse in the bedroom upstairs, staring at the wedding photo of Viktor and Tulip. Jesse asks why he should trust a lying junkie like Cassidy who is just here to play hero. That is when Cassidy shocks Jesse by saying that Jesse is right about him.

Cassidy tells Jesse that he is “greedy, selfish, destructive, jealous,” and he tells everyone that but no one believes him. After that, Cassidy tries to stab Jesse in the back. He tells Jesse that Tulip won’t leave him if he kills Viktor because nothing can come between the two of them. Cassidy then leaves.

Jesse has Viktor hung up in the torture room and heads back down there. Jesse looks at Viktor and then Viktor asks if Jesse knows why Tulip married him. Jesse said it was because Tulip wanted to be a criminal and rich. Viktor said that isn’t the reason. He said that Tulip married him because Jesse was an asshole but he was nice to her. That is when Jesse swings the axe he is holding at Viktor.
