HBO releases trailer for Game of Thrones season 7, episodes 2 and 3

Rejoice, Game of Thrones fans, as HBO has released an extended trailer for the next two episodes!

The 2017 San Diego Comic-Con has officially opened its doors, and the Game of Thrones panel will be held at 11:30 AM CT this morning. As part of the SDCC fun and festivities, HBO has released trailer for the next two episodes: “Stormborn” and “The Queen’s Justice.”

The trailer kicks off with the events of episode 2, “Stormborn,” as Jon Snow prepares the North for a possible alliance with Daenerys Targaryen. The gathered lords and ladies in the great hall at Winterfell aren’t too pleased that Jon is considering uniting the North with the daughter of the Mad King.

At Dragonstone, Daenerys is having a meeting of her own, as the combined leaders of her forces decide how to approach their conquest of Westeros. Yara Greyjoy believes it’s time to press the attack, they do have three full grown dragons, after all.

At King’s Landing, Cersei is holding court from the Iron Throne, and she’s eyeing a new ally in Randyll Tarly, Sam’s father. If Cersei can convince House Tarly to join her in the fight against the Dragon Queen, then she will have turned a Targaryen loyalist to her side, and added a substantial amount of might to her own forces.

As the events of episode 3, “The Queen’s Justice” begin to play, we see that Melisandre has arrived at Dragonstone and is meeting with Daenerys. Many shots of dragons play through.

The Lannister army marches toward a battle, as Euron Greyjoy arrives in King’s Landing, bringing his “gift” to Cersei. We also see a shot of Arya looking frightened, as Litlefinger tries to woo Sansa with promises of power.
