Known as “the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen,” Daredevil is a ruthless defender of his city but refuses to kill due to his religious beliefs. While

While Daredevil doesn’t stick the landing on every storyline, it does deliver a gritty adaptation of its source material and has some of the coolest fight choreography of all time. The hallway fight is iconic, so much so that almost every one of the Netflix series has tried to incorporate one into their own shows.

However, the crime-fighting extends to more than just vigilante justice with Matt’s best friend Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) and Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) trying to save lives through the law. While the first season follows Matt’s origin story, the second year introduces two of the best characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle is so complex and layered that he immediately was green lit for a series of his own.

Elodie Yung came on board as Elektra, and just like the Punisher, she became a unique anti-hero who fans fell in love with. Without Daredevil, there would be a lot of great characters missing from the MCU and three other Netflix series.
