Watch Arya duel [SPOILER] in this new Game of Thrones clip!

Sky Atlantic has aired a brief promo for Game of Thrones episode 704, “The Spoils of War,” and it shows Arya dueling a familiar face. Warning: SPOILERS await!

As we saw in the HBO promo for Game of Thrones episode 704, “The Spoils of War,” Arya Stark will return to Winterfell after having been gone from her home since season 1. And, thanks to a new promo from British television broadcaster, Sky Atlantic, we know what she’ll be doing when she gets there.

Here’s the video showing Arya dueling Brienne, in the training yard of Winterfell, as Pod and Sansa watch.

Although this is a poor potato cam version of the promo, taken on someone’s phone probably, we do have some very cool stills that show what’s going on.

Arya prepares her stance to duel with Brienne by settling into the Water Dancer’s form, like her former teacher Syrio Forel taught her.

She then begins to “dance” and twirl her sword Needle, as Brienne prepares for an overhead chop.

Arya lithely dodges Brienne’s brutish attack…

…and spins around with the pointy end directed at Brienne’s exposed neck.

The duel seems to be won, and Arya is very happy with herself.

This is such a momentous scene. One that we are extremely shocked that Sky Atlantic would show such a potentially massive spoiler-y scene.

This is proof that Arya is not only a deadly assassin with poison, but she is also more than capable with a Braavosi sword. Taking down a knight in armor with a simple thin blade is no small task, and we think Syrio would be proud.
