Game of Thrones Dead Pool: Who’s most likely to die on “Eastwatch”?
By Corey Smith
5. Jaime Lannister: 25%
First of all, what in the seven hells were you thinking Jaime? Even if Drogon had been sound asleep, and you were riding a ninja, not a horse, why would you think you could sneak up on a full grown dragon? We are shaking our collective heads, Jaime. As protective as Drogon is of Daenerys, you’re lucky Bronn was there to save you; at least for last week. Sidenote, how was Jaime handling his horse with that golden hand?
Anyway, this week might be an entirely different story. Last we saw Jaime he was drowning in the deepest lake in Westeros, weighed down by his armor. It might be a shock for Jaime Lannister to die by drowning after all this time, but it would not be the first time we were shocked by a death on Game of Thrones. Removing armor underwater is hardly easy, and even less so with just one good hand.
Jaime’s one saving grace might end up ironically being his armor, his plot armor that is. Jaime does appear to be in dire danger, and if he was any other character we’d name him dead. But Jaime has more to do before his death, and a reckoning with his siblings has to occur before we believe Jaime is sent to the after life.
