2. Thoros of Myr – 75%

Plot armor is a term often referenced in terms of a character’s chances of surviving any given situation. When we all saw Jaime drifting to the bottom of the world’s deepest lake, no one actually believe he’d  perish, Jaime still had some many plot points to conclude. Thoros of Myr on the other hand really doesn’t have much to do anymore. Sure, he’s a lovable drunk, but unless Beric Dondarrion is Azor Ahai, Thoros has largely served his purpose to the story.

As a member of the Brotherhood Without Banners, Thoros is an experienced warrior. We’ve seen his fluid movements when he demonstrated them for Arya back in season 3, and yet as with Tormund, those skills could ultimately end up counting all for naught. Beyond the Wall is a dangerous place, and fluid movements or skill with a sword could end up meaning nothing if our group of heroes stumbles on a nest of undead giants for instance.

With the sheer amount of danger lurking around every glacier, hill or tree north of the Wall we assume someone has to die, and Thoros is one of the most likely candidates. Thoros’ death would also serve to put the number one character on our list in even more peril.
