Jon Snow, the King in the North has decided to put his royal person into harm’s way by gathering a group of men, exceptional men, to venture north of the Wall and attempt to capture a wight — one of the Night King’s zombie minions. No one ever said this was a good plan, but on Game of Thrones, not many plans are.

Episode 706 is appropriately titled “Beyond the Wall,” and most of the scenes will deal with Jon and his group — wouldn’t you know it — beyond the Wall. However, there are a few important moments to deal with at Winterfell, so expect Sansa and Arya to continue their sisterly spat, as well. Here’s the preview:

When Beric Dondarrion is telling Jon Snow that Death is the enemy, just as they’re about to mix it up with the Night King himself, you know the episode is going to be nuts. Plus, I’m not sure how Jon’s group is going to survive that seething mass of undead chasing them through the snow. Be still my beating heart.

As mentioned, Arya and Sansa are still going toe to toe over Arya’s perception that Sansa wants to replace Jon as King in the North. Sansa doesn’t really know what to make of her younger sister, so, of course, Littlefinger has his opening to climb that ladder of chaos just a little further.
