4. Yohn Royce – 60%

Yohn Royce, commander of the Vale’s forces in Winterfell has long served House Arryn. That experience brought him to Winterfell, where he’s remained as winter has begun to set in. And while Royce might be an effective commander, he’s woefully unequipped to play the sort of games Littlefinger, his nominal lord, loves to play.

And although Royce has appeared to have ingratiated himself to Sansa, we’ve also seen him conspiring with Littlefinger. And so has Arya. With the tension in Winterfell ready to explode at any moment, Royce could find himself on the wrong side of the conflict without even realizing it. We won’t be sorry to see him go, but we will feel sorry for just how little Royce sees it coming.

Depending on where his loyalties ultimately end up, Royce could wind up executed by Arya for betraying House Stark, or by Littlefinger for appearing to betray House Stark. If that sounds confusing to you the reader, just consider how confusing it is for poor Royce. Royce could do the right thing and wind up dead, or do the wrong thing and wind up dead. Or vice versa. The point is, things are dangerous for all but the most adept players, and Royce is most certainly not one of those.
