Alas, dear friends, I write this to you with the heaviest of hearts. Our most beloved show, Game of Thrones, has reached its 7th season finale, and we will once again be cast out into that Long Night, as we wait for the next season, which will be the series’ last.
The season finale is titled “The Dragon and the Wolf,” and will feature most of the major characters meeting in one place so Cersei can totally blow them up with wildfire…I mean so they can all agree to join forces to defeat the White Walkers.

As it stands, Sansa and Arya have been caught in Littlefinger’s web of deceit as he slowly ascends his ladder of chaos. Brienne and her trusty squire Pod travel to King’s Landing to represent Lady Sansa at the meeting of the Seven Kingdoms’ greatest minds, as they attempt to set aside their enmity toward each other for the greater good — defeating the Night King.
Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen also travel to King’s Landing. The King in the North has agreed to bend the knee to Dany, and she, in turn, has agreed to help him defend the realms of men against the coming darkness.
The Hound brings a wight to the dragonpit in King’s Landing, and, so, all the Queen’s horses (ridden by Dothraki) and all the Queen’s men (the Unsullied led by Greyworm) form up outside the walls of the capital city.

Dany’s taking no chances at sea, either, as Tyrion and Theon Greyjoy sail the Targaryen fleet into a Euron Greyjoy blockade. Things are looking tense, and we’ve yet to see how the Mother of Dragons herself will enter the city her family once ruled.
