HBO releases a sneak peek at the Game of Thrones season 7 finale
Ahead of tonight’s Game of Thrones season 7 finale — “The Dragon and the Wolf,” HBO has released a brief snippet from the episode.
The last time Jaime Lannister and Bronn faced a Dothraki horde, it didn’t end well for either of them. In fact, were it not for the quick thinking of Bronn, Jaime would have sunk to the bottom of what can only be described as the Mariana Trench after racing along the shallows moments earlier, attempting to skewer Daenerys Targaryen through the heart. Lucky for Dany, Drogon wasn’t having any of that sh*t.
Well, boys, we have some bad news for ya. The Dothraki are back, and this time they’re backing up an army of Unsullied. Here’s the brief snippet from tonight’s season 7 finale, “The Dragon and the Wolf.”
Look, I get it. All it would take for me to curl up into the fetal position and hide is one look at an entire horde of Dothraki Screamers charging full speed at my face. I honestly don’t know how Jaime and Bronn can do it twice now. Alas, that’s why they’re heroes…well, anti-heroes anyway, and I get to criticise from the comfort of home, in my House Stark pajamas.
Add the fact that Greyworm and the Unsullied are formed up outside the King’s Landing gates, the Targaryen fleet entering the harbor, and most likely, Dany riding Drogon with Rhaegal in tow (RIP Viserion), and you’ve got one heck of an impressive show of force by Daenerys and her allies, which now includes Jon Snow, King in the North.
