9. Euron’s surprise attack

Well, let it be said that Euron Greyjoy isn’t a liar. When he says he’s going to bring something, he means it. He decides to do what he’d Cersei for help with on his own — get his family back and the Sand Snakes. While they’re in the cabin, discussing who gets to fight first and who gets to kill whom, Euron attacks the ship.

He sends a boarding party across from his ship. While Tyene was guarding her mother below the deck. They end up being the only two that make it out alive or not captured. By the end of the fight, both her sisters were dead, and Yara was captured by Euron. It’s still unclear whether Yara is alive, but what we do know is that Theon had the chance to possibly save her before they took her.

Theon jumps overboard, knowing there’s no other way to survive. While it seems like a major step back in Theon’s character development, we have to hope that there was a chance that he had a plan of some kind. As he was running away.

…Anything’s possible, right?
