18. Arya sees Bran

Sansa takes Arya to see Bran at the Godswood, where Bran seems to spend most of his time. Elated, Arya hugs Bran, but immediately realizes he’s not like he was before. He says to her that he saw her at the crossroads. While she takes this literally, it’s probably the Crossroads, which is where she saw Hot Pie again.

Sansa explains that Bran is having visions again, the same way you say that your younger sibling is “playing with their imaginary friend”. Then Bran drops that he knew Arya was going to Kings Landing to kill the Queen because Cersei was on her list of names. This confirms what Arya was talking about before, and now Sansa’s pretty sure she’s the only normal one in the bunch.

They talk about the Valerian dagger on Bran’s lap and he said Littlefinger gave it to him. Sansa warns him that Littlefinger doesn’t do anything without expecting reciprocity. Bran doesn’t seem to care, and gives it to Arya, saying it shouldn’t be “wasted on a cripple.”

As they walk back to the castle, Brienne and Podrick sees them, and Podrick notes that she fulfilled her oath to Catelyn Stark all those years ago.
