Game of Thrones season 7 may be over, but HBO isn’t leaving its fans in a lurch.

HBO has announced it will be airing across its digital streaming platforms, a seven part mini series titled “The Game Revealed,” which will take fans behind the scenes of each Game of Thrones episode from season 7, and it is the perfect cure for that season 7 finale hangover.

From the presser:

The seven-part series features exclusive interviews with cast and crew that provide new info and insights on how some of the biggest moments from the latest season of the HBO series came together. The first episode of THE GAME REVEALED is now available, and fans can also watch it for free on Facebook and YouTube. The remaining six episodes will be available exclusively to HBO subscribers, with new episodes rolling out on a weekly basis on subsequent Mondays.

You can watch the first episode released on the official Game of Thrones YouTube page now:

The first episode of “The Game Revealed” is 14-minutes long and contains loads of unseen footage, including:

  • The camera tricks behind Arya’s face-changing transformation into Walder Frey.
  • The Spanish landscapes that served as the backdrop for Dany’s ancestral home of Dragonstone.
  • Exclusive interviews with episode 1, “Dragonstone” director Jeremy Podeswa
  • Prosthetics designer Barrie Gower.
  • Daenerys Targaryen herself — Emilia Clarke.
  • Arya Stark actress Maisie Williams, with guest star Ed Sheeran.

These episodes are a wonderful way to keep fans connected to the show, even in the off-season, and even if it is only for seven mini-episodes.
