Did Maisie Williams tease an Arya and the Hound reunion for Game of Thrones season 8?

With all the reunions we got in Game of Thrones season 7, one very important one was left on the table: Arya and the Hound.

HBO’s Making Game of Thrones blog recently featured eight cast members discussing the season 7 finale. Arya Stark actress Maisie Williams weighed in on her character’s feelings toward her former traveling companion — the Hound.

"I don’t think there’s any hard feelings anymore. What Arya experienced in Braavos took a far worse toll on her. The feelings she had about the Hound were very immature, and I feel like she’s grown up since then. If they met again, she’d hopefully just be an effective killer with him, rather than against him."

Hold up, I feel like we need to highlight and bold that last part:

“She’d hopefully just be an effective killer with him.”

An Arya and the Hound reunion is everything we Game of Thrones fans have been wanting since she left him for dead in the season 4 finale, “The Children.”

And, oh, by the way, it was Brienne of Tarth who sent the Hound careening over that cliff that nearly killed him, but hey, they see9m to have squashed that particular beef.

Now that Brienne and the Hound have basically become the default adoptive parents of Arya, we can see no better topic for a Game of Thrones spinoff than their blended family traipsing throughout the Seven Kingdoms, dispensing their own special brand of revenge (Arya), justice (Brienne), and chicken eating (the Hound)…like all the f*king chickens.
