1. The events of the 2016 Election Night

The opening scene during last night’s premiere of American Horror Story: Cult was iconic in that it managed to capture the horror and ecstasy that different groups of people felt when Donald Trump was elected President of the United States. We got to see both sides of the coin with lesbian couple Ally (Sarah Paulson) and Ivy (Alison Pill)  cowering in fear, while the blue-haired Kai (Evan Peters) screams in joy, humps the TV screen and scares is sister Winter (Billie Lourd) covered in Cheetos dust.

As AHS openings go, this is the best one yet capturing the varying emotions of the election night.

2. The Clowns in the Vegetable Aisle

While it’s certainly not okay to make fun of those with mental issues and phobias, we have to admit that Ally’s meltdown in the grocery store was pretty entertaining to watch. While it was uncertain whether or not the clowns were actually real (they seemed pretty real to Ally), we do have to admit that it was highly disturbing to watch those red-nosed monsters go at it in the produce section and chase Ally down with a knife.

Phobia or not, multiple clowns wielding weapons and have sex in random places is sure to make anyone uncomfortable enough that they run in terror or, in Ally’s case, try to smash them with a bottle of rose.
