‘The Punisher’ Posters Released For Upcoming Netflix Series
By Shawn Lealos
The Punisher will hit Netflix on Nov. 27, which will give comic book fans a tough choice that weekend.
Fans can binge watch the next Marvel Netflix series (The Punisher) all weekend long or leave the house and see DC Comics Justice League movie, which debuts that same day. Both comic book properties have been in the works for awhile, and both are highly anticipated.
The Punisher was rumored to his Netflix last month, but the tragic shooting in Las Vegas caused Netflix to hold off on the show’s release out of respect for the victims. That is, of course, because unlike other Netflix heroes, The Punisher is someone who loves to mow down bad guys with his assortment of guns.
The release date has finally hit, and we are now just two weeks away from getting to see the fourth iteration of The Punisher – this one in his first TV show.
Dolph Lundgren, Thomas Jane and Ray Stevenson all portrayed Frank Castle on the big screen, and Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead) took on the role in Daredevil Season 2. Now, it is time to see The Punisher on his own – sort of.
As the new posters that just hit the Internet shows, Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) from Daredevil will be appearing in the series with Bernthal. It also turns out this was not always part of the season of The Punisher, but fans of Marvel Netflix have to be happy to see Karen show up.
There is a second poster that also hit – this one a motion poster with one of The Punisher’s allies in his war on crime – Micro (Ebon Moss-Bachrach). Check that one out below as well:
The synopsis for The Punisher indicates that he will start a bloody rampage as he tries to find answers concerning his military history and the murder of his family.

From the sound of it, they will use flashbacks for Frank Castle’s origin story, but the series will mostly take place in the present day.
