The mid-season finale of The Walking Dead season is upon us this week, and AMC has released two all-new previews for the episode.

It’s a little hard to believe, but The Walking Dead season 8 has already reached the halfway point in its 16 episode slate. On Sunday, December 10, episode 808 titled, “How It’s Gotta Be,” marking the mid-season finale of season 8.

The first preview released by AMC is the regular “next on,” which plays directly after the episode. Check it out:

Well, for now, it appears as if Jadis and the Garbage Pale Kids will honor their new deal with Rick because let’s face it, once you’ve seen Jadis paint in nothing but an apron, you can never go back.

We also have an exciting shot of Carl telling his fellow Alexandrians to last through the night. What could that mean? Will Negan and his Saviors finally take All Out War back to Alexandria? Carol also seems to be running down a street in Alexandria, which now makes us begin to worry one of our favorite cast members will be in major trouble in the mid-season finale.

Up next, we have a sneak peek of episode 808. Here’s that:

I really want to like Jesus, but his whole positive attitude in the face of a zombie apocalypse, while also facing humans who are the lowest form of scum to ever draw breath, makes me want to really dislike him.

Yeah, Jesus, that tree just happened to fall over, because why would the Saviors ever want to set a trap for you like they did to Rick in season 7, resulting in Maggie’s husband Glenn’s death? Seriously, we need a better written Jesus, AMC.
