The best TV episodes of 2017

2017 was quite a fruitful year in terms of TV series. Highlights of some of the best episodes served to us by our favorite TV networks.
Still buzzing with last Sunday’s Golden Globes which awarded the best shows of the past year, here on Show Snob, we felt like giving special mentions to our TV networks’ favorite shows and include fans’ favorite that didn’t make it to the Hollywood Foreign Press’ list of nominees.
And what a busy year it was, indeed! 2017 brought along several brand new critically-acclaimed shows (HBO’s Big Little Lies, Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale or Netflix’s Dear White People among others) and highly-anticipated follow-up seasons (HBO’s Game of Thrones, Netflix’s Stranger Things).
Until some of them return — the final season of Game of Thrones has just officially be announced for 2019 — we have decided to review the year out and come back on some of the most memorable episodes of all those unforgettable shows.
Some made us cry, some had us squealing, some had us hooked, some fulfilled our expectations, some left us hanging. But none left us indifferent. Some were introductory, some were a long-awaited climax, some were a turning point, and some were a much-anticipated conclusion.
It was sometimes to difficult to single out a best episode, and sometimes it was just that obvious.
