3. X-Factor Investigations

Occupied by B-List and C-List X-Men characters, X-Factor Investigations never quite got the recognition it deserved despite having plenty of interesting superheroes. Extremely popular in the comic book world but not so much to the casual movie-goer, there’s no surprise that FOX chose to skip over this group when developing films. However, after The Gifted proved that fans will tune into shows simply about mutants, it’s time to consider giving XF Investigations what it deserves.

With a whole roster of interesting mutants at their disposal, XF would have no shortage of interesting character arcs to explore. But the most intriguing of them all would be exploring where the agency is set. District X or Mutant Town, is literally a section of New York City populated by mutants looking to live peacefully without the constant backlash from human neighbors.

However, the neighborhood became over-populated and destroyed by crime that it was regarded as a “ghetto” by many people that lived there. Yet, District X was still a colorful and exciting place to live despite the high risk from crime.

While an X-Factor Investigations television show would explore the daily crimes they dealt with, it would also expand the world and culture of mutants. Never done before, this show would have the potential to highlight a lot of the social issues that people in lower income neighborhoods deal with while also demonstrating how important it is to protect one’s history. XF Investigations could become the perfect supernatural crime show to rival Lucifer or even Jessica Jones.
