The 10 Best Super Bowl Commercials From 2018
By Shawn Lealos
9. Febreze
For the 9th spot on the best Super Bowl commercials of 2018, a love of dumb jokes has to exist to appreciate this Febreze commercial. The entire ad is shot like a documentary, with people talking about Dave – a guy whose “bleep don’t stink.”
That is actually how the people refer to it (all starting with Dave), using the word bleep in the sentences. The commercial speaks to his high school wrestling coach (“good kid”), a high school janitor (“I miss Dave”), and his parents, who get the best lines.
His parents admit that they first notice his bleep didn’t stink when he was a baby, and they were surprised he turned out all right despite this fact. The mother then admits that her friend has a son who is a lawyer and his dad says having a son whose bleep don’t stink is better than being a lawyer.
The commercial then has a twist where it reminds you that Dave is not at your Super Bowl party but everyone else is. At this time, Dave looks at a bottle of Febreze and asks his mom what it is for.
